One Day, One Dream

Board member Kelly Bush will attempt and succeed at breaking the Guinness World Record for the farthest distance traveled on an Aquabike in 24 hours, or what everyone calls a jetski.

We are currently researching the best starting position for this event; we do know that it will take place on the East coast of the United States and will end somewhere in Florida. Based on historical temperatures of air and surface water the Charleston area could be a good fit however somewhere in the Gulf of Mexico looks to be a good candidate as well.

For this event Kelly will be tasked with the challenge of traveling pretty much non-stop for a period of 24 hours and with a goal of around 700 miles. We have our GWR claim number and are finishing the paper work to finalize the process.

Our Guinness claim number for this event is 232114 and from the looks of it, well have someone from the Guinness World Records team onsite to certify the achievement.

The record for the greatest distance covered on a jet ski within 24 hours is 1,031 km (604.6 miles) and was achieved by Davor Hundic (Croatia) between Icici, Dubrovnik and Rab (Croatia) on a RXT SeaDoo jet ski on June 25, 2006.
